Scientific and Practical Conference “General Approach to Cerebral Metastases”
- On February 11, a scientific and practical conference on the topic “General Approach to Cerebral Metastases” was held under the joint organization of Referans Medical Group and Anadolu Sağlık Group.
- The event began with the national anthems of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey. A moment of silence was observed in memory of the victims of the devastating earthquake that occurred in Turkey on February 6.
- At the opening of the conference, the chairperson, Professor Dr. Kenan Yusif-zade, spoke to guests about the ongoing work under the memorandum signed between Referans Medical Group and Anadolu Sağlık Group on April 4, 2022, as well as about doctor consultations and training programs conducted for staff.
- Next, Teymur Mirzabeyli, head of the Medical Activity Organization Department at TABIB, highlighted the importance of recent healthcare achievements, reforms, and the organization of scientific and practical events based on international experience.
- Professor and neurosurgeon Dr. Serdar Kahraman from Anadolu Sağlık Group presented a video introducing Anadolu Sağlık Group and discussed the development of one of Turkey’s leading medical organizations. He also shared achievements in neurosurgery and the global level of their work.
- As part of the event dedicated to the Year of Heydar Aliyev, a documentary film prepared by Referans Medical Group in honor of the 100th anniversary of the national leader was shown, highlighting his contributions to the development of the healthcare system.
- The conference included well-known experts working at the intersection of neurology, neurosurgery, and radiology. Current scientific and practical reports were presented, discussions were held, and participant questions were answered.
- The event consisted of two sessions with more than 100 doctors attending and included 6 presentations.
