Electroencephalography or EEG is a neurological examination method used to record and evaluate the total electrical activity of the brain. EEG is more often used to diagnose epilepsy. In some cases, EEG is used in the diagnosis of coma, brain death, sleep disorders, encephalopathies. Performing a routine EEG lasts 20-30 minutes.
