“Leyla Medical Center” is a new name of a former “Leyla Shikhlinskaya Clinic”, which was founded in 1999 by the great leader Heydar Aliyev. The Industrial Medical Service at Leyla Medical Center, along with other departments, guards the health of the population. Over the past several years, great steps have also been taken at our center for development in this area. All reforms in the organization of the Emergency Medical Assistance Service in accordance with international and local standards, continuous training of personnel, implementation of vaccination programs, establishment and management of Emergency Medical Assistance Centers in various institutions, all applied innovations are carried out directly under the supervision of our professional doctors. Given the growing number of patients on a daily basis, Leyla Medical Center is being expanded and renovated to improve the quality of service provided to patients. During the special quarantine regime that began in March, a number of important steps were taken to reduce the risk of the virus spreading at Leyla Medical Center, and the social campaigns and actions initiated by the state were supported by the Center. An example of this is the voluntary blood donation campaign held in April at Leyla Medical Center. With the blood collected during the campaign, we were able to support hundreds of children suffering from blood diseases. The greatest value of this was the gratitude expressed by the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva to us.
