As Referans Medical Group, on April 25, 2023, as a part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, with the support and organization of the Ministry of Justice and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, we organized free of charge medical examinations under the motto “With care for everyone”.
Health protection and medical care of persons serving sentences in penitentiary institutions of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice are always in the spotlight. Various social actions are carried out in this direction.
This time, the organized action was attended by women, their children and persons under the age of majority serving sentences in the women's Penitentiary Institution No. 4 of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and in an Educational Institution for Minors.
As part of the one-day campaign, examinations were carried out by gynecologist, therapist, endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, neurologist, pediatrician, cardiologist, dermatologist, an ENT specialist, as well as ultrasound, hearing testing, ECHO-KG and ECG, laboratory tests. In total, more than 500 medical services were provided to 90% of the prisoners.
