Chronic Fatigue Syndrome most often occurs in people aged 30 to 50 and is observed more frequently in women than in men. Most patients with this syndrome experience muscle and joint pain, persistent fatigue, and a lack of energy lasting for at least 6 months.
Chronic fatigue more commonly develops in people who are constantly under stress and cannot dedicate enough time to their physical health. Other important factors contributing to the syndrome include disrupted sleep patterns, sleeping in bright light, or frequent nighttime awakenings, which reduce sleep quality.
Despite rest, patients cannot get rid of the feeling of constant fatigue. Therefore, if this condition lasts more than 6 months, it is essential to seek psychological and physiological support at a medical facility.
