Leyla Medical Center issues a statement regarding the article published on Musavat.com on June 11

  • In the information provided by the clinic to Musavat.com, it is stated that the appointment booking system is not regulated by Leyla Medical Center itself:
  • “We would like to inform you that the COVID-19 vaccination process in our country continues in accordance with the ‘Vaccination Strategy for 2021–2022.’ To effectively combat COVID-19 infection in Azerbaijan, the vaccination process is organized at a high level. To make the service more accessible, alongside other private clinics, Leyla Medical Center has also joined the vaccination program as a private clinic. Every citizen over 18 years old without contraindications can use the electronic service ‘COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment’ online by visiting the website randevu.its.gov.az and make an appointment.
  • We want to emphasize that the booking system is regulated by TƏBİB (Association for Management of Territorial Medical Institutions). We only carry out the vaccination process itself.
  • Considering that the new Pfizer vaccine is recognized in Europe, all citizens prefer this vaccine. Since the storage, transportation, and administration of the vaccine are done according to special rules, this also requires a certain amount of time.
  • Additionally, at Leyla Medical Center, a medical examination of patients is conducted before vaccination, as with other services. All these procedures take some time.
  • Once again, we stress: the booking system is not regulated by Leyla Medical Center, so we ask citizens to understand this.
  • As Leyla Medical Center, we are pleased to continue providing services to our citizens. The comfort and satisfaction of our patients have always been our priority. We take all assigned tasks with great responsibility — this is our professional duty.”
