- There is a saying in medicine: "If a patient trusts a surgeon with one organ, then he trusts an anesthesiologist with his whole life and health." The work of a surgeon can be seen, and anesthesiologists are hidden heroes. Because throughout the operation, a surgeon's comfortable work is impossible without an anesthesiologist, who is responsible for the patient's health during the operation and until he regains consciousness after it. In our anesthesiology department: Preoperative examination, consultation and preparation of the patient; Pain relief and/or anesthesia for surgical, obstetric and gynecological, therapeutic and diagnostic invasive interventions; Monitoring the patient's condition, hemostasis (stopping bleeding) before surgery, eliminating conditions such as critical shock, coma, etc.; Organization and implementation of resuscitation and intensive care measures; Assessment of respiratory failure and its management with artificial respiration; Conducting fundamental scientific research in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of treatment.
