July 2 — Azerbaijan Police Day

According to the Decree of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, signed in 1998, July 2 was declared Azerbaijan Police Day. Today, the Azerbaijan police are celebrating the 103rd anniversary of their founding. The Azerbaijan police have always performed their duties with a high level of responsibility, especially during the fight against the pandemic, when police officers stood on the front lines alongside medical workers, providing round-the-clock protection of the health of our citizens.
