February 15 — World Day of Fighting Childhood Cancer
Oncological diseases found in children differ significantly from those in adults, with embryonal tumors making up the majority. Among these, leukemia is the most common type of cancer. Unfortunately, the severity of the problem increases each year. According to medical statistics, around 200,000 children worldwide are diagnosed with cancer annually, and half of them lose their lives. Early and timely diagnosis plays a crucial role in the treatment of oncological diseases. Detecting the disease at stages one or two greatly improves the chances of successful treatment.
